GREAT GROOVE BAND

Open to school-aged players of stringed instruments - violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, mandolin, banjo, piano, plus flute and percussion players.  Arrangements are written in alto or bass clef for viola or cello. The 2007 Great Groove Band will meet and rehearse at the Festival from 3-5 pm Fri., and from 10-11 am on both Sat. and Sun. Groovemama's coaches will prepare three pieces with the large group, with room for several smaller ensembles as well, culminating in a main-stage performance early Sunday afternoon.
